We sat down with Chelsi, one of Helpr’s Care Finder Consultants, to explain what happens behind the scenes when you ask Helpr to help find care.
I’ve been at Helpr for more than five years, first in customer support and now as a Care Finder Consultant. Before Helpr, I worked in adult care, and caregiving has always been a part of my life. That experience helps me understand just how personal finding the right care can be.

We’re not just filling a position. We’re helping families find someone they can trust with the people who matter most.
— Chelsi, Care Finder Consultant
Care Finder has grown so much. Today, we help families find everything from daycare and adult care to tutoring, after-school programs, transportation, and even pet care. I love that families can come to us with so many different needs.
I partner with each family on a personalized search based on their care needs, schedule, location, budget, and preferences.
We handle much of the time-consuming work involved in the search, from researching care options and interviewing candidates to completing background, reference, and social media checks when applicable.
I keep families updated throughout the process and typically share up to three options to consider.
You don’t have to navigate it alone.
Many of us on the Care Finder team are juggling caregiving and full-time careers ourselves. We know what it’s like to manage both, and our goal is to make finding care one less thing on your plate.
